Amendment 3 Study Projects Higher Renter Costs in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco

A study commissioned by housing advocacy groups projects that Amendment 3, a November ballot measure raising Florida's homestead exemption to $250,000 by 2028, could increase annual property tax costs on rental properties by roughly $400 to $1,350 per unit in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco counties.
