1-Year-Old Killed After Crawling Into Road in Jonesville Area
Florida Highway Patrol reported that a 1-year-old boy was struck and killed on a roadway in the Jonesville area after wandering off while his family performed yard work at their home. The parents said they searched for the toddler in his usual spots but could not find him before he entered the road, where the driver did not see him. The boy was transported to a hospital, where he died. Officials stated that no charges are expected against either the parents or the driver.
