15-Year-Old Arrested in Mass Shooting Near FAMU Stadium
A 15-year-old, Anthony Rivers III, was arrested and charged with 11 counts of attempted second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a delinquent following a mass shooting near Florida A&M University's Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee, Florida. At least 11 people were shot and injured Saturday night, including six minors; the youngest victim was 11 years old. Police Chief Lawrence Revell announced the charges Monday morning, stating police believe the shooting stemmed from a fight between two or three individuals. The incident occurred hours after a homecoming football game in which Arkansas-Pine Bluff defeated FAMU, though police have not confirmed a connection to the game.
