Swastikas Found Near Taft Community Center Early Voting Site

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is investigating swastikas painted on trees near the Taft Community Center, one of 27 early voting sites in Orange County, Central Florida. Elections Supervisor Karen Castor Dentel condemned the symbols and said they were removed immediately after discovery. The Taft Community Center early voting location will remain open through Sunday. The incident occurred amid rising reports of antisemitism in Central Florida.

Guest Injured by Falling Holiday Decoration at Mall at Millenia

A guest at Orlando's Mall at Millenia was injured Saturday after being struck by a falling holiday decoration, according to a mall representative. The Orlando Fire Department transported the patient as a trauma alert to a nearby hospital, and the incident was turned over to Orlando Police. The injured person's identity and condition have not been released.
