Florida Man Arrested for Alleged Threats Against Glades County Jewish Community
Jerry Sneed, 31, of Orlando was arrested Oct. 28 and booked into Orange County Jail on charges including written or electronic threats to kill, do bodily injury, or conduct a mass shooting, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. FDLE agents received information Oct. 19 that threatening messages targeting a Jewish community in Glades County had been posted on social media, including images of the community's location and a firearm. Sneed allegedly still possessed the firearm shown in the postings at the time of his arrest. The Glades County state attorney's office is prosecuting; details of the messages were not released.
