Flight Attendant Arrested for $25K Sweepstakes Scam Against Palm Coast Senior
Destiny Blake, a 24-year-old American Airlines flight attendant from Brooklyn, was arrested Friday at Miami International Airport on a Flagler County warrant for allegedly defrauding a 75-year-old Palm Coast woman of approximately $25,310. The scheme began in November 2025 with a fake Publishers Clearing House call instructing the victim to send gift cards and cash to Blake, after which Blake flew to Daytona Beach and traveled to the victim's home using stolen credit card information. Blake faces charges including organized scheme to defraud over $20,000 from a victim 65 or older, fraudulent use of personal identification information of a person 60 or older, and grand theft over $20,000. She was booked into Miami-Dade County jail and released on a $30,000 bond.
