Florida Gas Prices Drop Below $4 for First Time Since September
Florida's average regular unleaded gas price fell to $3.86 on Monday, a 23-cent weekly drop and the first time below $4 since Sept. 8, according to AAA. The decline is attributed to refineries and fuel stations switching to cheaper winter-blend gasoline. South Florida saw the state's highest prices at $4.17 in Monroe County, while Pensacola in the Panhandle posted the lowest at $3.64. Diesel averaged $5.98 in Florida versus $6.29 nationally.
