SR 28 North Parking Extension Project Completed in Incline Village
The Tahoe Transportation District and Nevada Department of Transportation have completed the SR 28 North Parking Project, adding 90 parking spots at the Tunnel Creek area. This Phase 2 improvement aims to reduce unsafe roadside parking along Lake Tahoe’s East Shore and improve access to recreation areas. Construction is also underway on a larger transportation hub near Spooner Lake State Park, which will include approximately 250 spaces and an aquatic invasive species inspection station.
