11-Foot Metallic Object Found in Stevens County Cornfield Oct. 14
The Stevens County Sheriff's Office responded around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 14 to a report of foreign debris in a Scott Township cornfield, confirming an approximately 11-foot-diameter metallic object described as "presumably a space object." The Minnesota Duty Officer was notified, and state and federal agencies are working to identify the object's owner and plan its removal from the field. The sheriff's office stated there is no danger to the public.
