Cook's Seafood Closes Pleasanton Location After One Year in Business
Cook's Seafood permanently closed its Pleasanton location on October 28, 2026, after just over a year of operation, according to a notice posted on the restaurant's front door. The company also closed its flagship Menlo Park location the same day, ending 98 years of business. The Pleasanton restaurant had opened in May 2025 following nearly eight years of permitting delays that began in 2017. Employees reportedly received notification via text message at 3 a.m. on October 29 from owner Roy Crumrine Jr.
