Woman Sentenced to 30 Days for Faking Pregnancies in Phoenix
Laura Owens was sentenced to 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to faking pregnancies to manipulate men, including former "The Bachelor" contestant Clayton Echard. Prosecutors stated that Owens used HCG injections to create false positive tests and edited photos to appear pregnant. The court also heard testimony regarding her theft of another woman's ultrasound images. Owens received an additional 12 months of deferred jail time starting in October 2027.
