Coastal Flood Advisory for North Bay and Peninsula Coast Oct. 26-29
The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory valid from Monday, Oct. 26 at 9 a.m. until Thursday, Oct. 29 at 3 p.m. The advisory covers the Coastal North Bay, including Point Reyes National Seashore, and the San Francisco Peninsula Coast. Up to 1.9 feet of inundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways due to high tides enhanced by storm surge. Residents are advised to avoid driving through flood waters and to protect flood-prone property.
