Shareholder Sues Roblox CEO Over Age Verification Disclosures
A shareholder filed a lawsuit in Clark County District Court on Oct. 20 against Roblox Corp. executives, alleging they misled investors about the impact of mandatory age verification checks. The complaint claims that while leaders stated the January rollout would not affect growth, daily active user growth slowed significantly and bookings guidance was reduced. Additionally, the suit alleges CEO David Baszucki engaged in insider sales totaling approximately $756 million during the period when negative effects were allegedly concealed.
