UNM Hospital Diverts Patients Monday Due to Cybersecurity Issue
A cybersecurity issue forced the University of New Mexico Health System to divert ambulances and cancel clinic appointments on Monday. The network, which operates the state's only Level 1 trauma center, advised patients not to visit its main Albuquerque hospital while working to resolve the breach. Presbyterian Healthcare Services reported taking additional patients as UNM closed classes at its Health Sciences Center.
