Siskiyou County Ballot Returns Hit 29% Ahead of Nov. 3 Election
As of Oct. 29, Siskiyou County voters had returned 7,948 of 27,619 mail ballots — about 29 percent — slightly ahead of the county's 2022 pace and California's statewide return rate. Voters aged 65 and older accounted for 68 percent of returns so far, while only 8 percent of ballots mailed to voters under 35 had come back. Mount Shasta led the county's nine incorporated cities with a 30 percent return rate, while Dorris trailed at 17 percent. Yreka voters will decide Measure G and Mount Shasta voters will decide Measure H on Election Day.
