Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley announced Tuesday that Paul Pelosi, 86, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor hit-and-run charge and an unlawful-turn traffic infraction stemming from a July 3 incident in Yountville. Authorities say Pelosi struck an unoccupied parked Tesla with his Maserati, stopped briefly, then drove away until the vehicle became disabled. As part of the plea agreement, Pelosi received one year of probation, a six-month driving prohibition, a 10-day work program, booking at the Napa County Department of Correction, and nearly $11,200 in restitution to the Tesla owner. The July incident follows a 2022 guilty plea for DUI causing injury, also in Yountville.
