York County Man Found in Hidden Room During Underage Party Raid
York County sheriff's deputies and the Nebraska State Patrol executed a search warrant at a rural property after responding to reports of an underage drinking party following a school homecoming event. Deputies found 28 juveniles with alcohol in a barn loft and arrested 51-year-old Chad Stuhr, who was discovered hiding behind a movable wall in a concealed room. Multiple juveniles reported Stuhr was the only adult present and alleged inappropriate behavior toward young girls, according to the sheriff's office. A property search uncovered alcoholic beverages, marijuana, a bayonet, and 62.7 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms. Stuhr faces charges including second-degree sexual assault of a child, child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and drug and weapon offenses.
