Amador Water Agency Hires Travis Small as General Manager
The Amador Water Agency Board of Directors has hired Travis Small as the agency's new General Manager, replacing Interim General Manager Jim Abercrombie. Small began his role Monday, November 2, bringing over two decades of water resource management experience, including serving as General Manager at Calaveras Public Utility District from 2021 to 2025 and as Deputy Director of Water Resources for the City of Stockton. The agency has begun several major facilities projects aimed at improving the county's aging water infrastructure.
