Tuolumne County Supervisors Hold Closed-Session Labor Talks Tuesday
The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will hold a special closed-session meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday to discuss labor negotiations with county employee unions. The session involves County Administrator Roger Root and Human Resources staff regarding all bargaining units, including Operating Engineers Local No. 3 and the County of Tuolumne Management Association. Union representatives indicated that negotiations are ongoing, with OE3 planning to present a counterproposal on health care benefits and members voting on a separate proposal. Further talks between the county and OE3 are scheduled for Wednesday.
