Adventist Health Sonora Gala Raises Over $290K for Cancer Care
Adventist Health Sonora's annual Joie de Vivre Gala on Sept. 27 at Chicken Ranch Casino Resort raised more than $290,000 for the Diana J. White Cancer Institute. The event drew 310 attendees and fully funded a $200,000 Healing Spaces Initiative to expand infusion center capacity and upgrade patient facilities. Hospital President Greg McCulloch said demand for cancer care has exceeded capacity in some clinical areas. Awards went to longtime educator Margie Bulkin and anesthesiologist Dr. Alan Levine.
