Elementary School Teacher Accused of Sexually Assaulting Teen at Princess Anne Barbershop
Maryland State Police charged 61-year-old Maurice Cotton Sr. of Westover with sexual abuse of a minor, second-degree assault and fourth-degree sexual offense. Authorities allege the charges stem from an incident involving a 16-year-old who knew Cotton at a barbershop in Princess Anne, where he works as a barber. Cotton is also identified as a teacher at East Salisbury Elementary School. Police say details are limited at this time.
