Trump Campaigns at Sioux Gateway Airport Ahead of Iowa Midterm Races
President Trump held a campaign rally Thursday evening at Sioux Gateway Airport in Sioux City, Iowa, to support Republican candidates in competitive midterm races. In Iowa's 4th Congressional District, where registered Republicans outnumber Democrats more than 2-to-1, Trump urged voters to back Congresswoman Ashley Hinson for Senate and Zach Lahn for governor. Polling cited in the report shows Democrat Josh Turek leading Hinson by 2 points within the margin of error, while Democrat Rob Sand holds an 11-point lead over Lahn. Trump is scheduled to return to Iowa November 1, two days before Election Day.
