80-Year-Old Dies After Horse Wagon Accident at NC Safari Zoo
An 80-year-old woman died days after being thrown from a horse-drawn wagon at Lazy 5 Ranch in Rowan County, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Saturday when horses panicked after a tree limb struck the wagon, injuring three people who were hospitalized. Ranch officials stated this was the first such accident requiring overnight hospitalization in the attraction's history. The victim, identified by her son as Ruth Quesenberry of Winston-Salem, passed away on Thursday.
