3 Teens Injured in Wise Road Rollover Crash in Placer County
Three teenagers were injured in a vehicle rollover crash reported just before 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Wise Road in unincorporated Placer County, California. A 16-year-old driving a Toyota pickup truck westbound lost control, crossed eastbound lanes, and rolled over on the south shoulder, CHP Auburn said. A 17-year-old passenger was ejected from the vehicle and suffered severe injuries; the driver and another 16-year-old passenger sustained moderate injuries. All three were transported to a nearby hospital. CHP said drug and alcohol use is suspected as a contributing factor, and it was unclear whether the driver would face charges.
