The Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District has an agreement to purchase the 164-acre Milliken Peak property from the di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art in Carneros, south Napa County, if it can raise $1.85 million. The proposed park would feature existing di Rosa art installations along a 2-mile hiking trail to the 720-foot peak, which offers views of San Pablo Bay and vineyards. A possible funding source is Measure B, a half-cent countywide sales tax on the Nov. 3 ballot; if it fails, the district could pursue grants.
