Friends and classmates gathered at Ballard Park in Melbourne, Florida, to honor 14-year-old Hunter Russey, who died after allegedly being struck by a vehicle. Authorities allege convenience store owner Kavan Patel intentionally hit Russey while he was riding his bicycle, believing the teen was breaking into the store. Patel faces charges including second-degree murder and leaving the scene of a crash, allegations which have not been proven in court. The vigil included speeches and flower releases to celebrate Russey's life.
