Inyo County Post-Election Audit Begins Nov. 12 at 9 a.m.
Inyo County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters Danielle Sexton announced a required 1% post-election manual tally audit of ballots cast in the November 3, 2026, General Election. The random selection of precincts begins Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the County Elections Office in the Inyo County Courthouse in Independence. The audit continues each regular business day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until completed, with results published on the county elections website. The public is invited to observe all processes by contacting the Elections Office at 760-878-0224.
