Inyo County Waives Green Waste Gate Fees Oct. 24-25
Inyo County will waive gate fees for green waste disposal at all county landfills and transfer stations during the weekend of October 24-25, 2026. The fee waiver applies to residential loads only; commercial haulers and landscaping contractors are not eligible. Residents must present identification to qualify for the free disposal, which is part of a broader effort to reduce wildfire risk by encouraging the removal of flammable vegetation.
