Murder Trial for Killing of 11-Year-Old Begins Oct. 19 in Horry County, SC
Jury selection began Monday, Oct. 19, for Camisha Marie McGaskey, 31, charged with murder and obstruction of justice in the June 2025 death of 11-year-old A'Kyri Bell, found with multiple blunt force injuries at a home on Sago Palm Drive in Horry County, South Carolina. The Horry County Police Department and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division determined Bell's death was connected to a human trafficking scheme in Horry County. The trial is being held at Horry County Circuit Court in Conway before Judge David Caraker.
