Hollywood Road Repaving Begins Oct. 19 on Three Corridors Through December
The City of Hollywood Department of Development Services will begin milling and resurfacing work on three roadways as part of the 2026 Surtax Improvement Project, starting October 19, 2026. Work will cover Hollywood Boulevard (east of City Hall Circle to 28th Avenue), N 32nd Avenue (Hollywood Boulevard to Johnson Street), and N 68th Avenue (Taft Street to Stirling Road). Contractors Weekley Asphalt, Inc. and Basile USA, Inc. will perform the work, with Hollywood Boulevard resurfacing occurring overnight Sunday through Thursday, 8:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. All three projects are expected to be completed by December 31, 2026.
