Hollister School District Hires Two Music Teachers; Student Signups Next Week
The Hollister School District has hired Dana Parker and Teresa Ayala as new music teachers, funded by California's Prop. 28 arts-education initiative. The positions opened after the retirement of longtime music teacher Susan Silveira heading into the 2026-27 school year. Ayala is tentatively assigned to all TK-8 sites while Parker will serve elementary sites, with student signups expected next week as the program launches in the second trimester.
