Dream Game 6 Tips Off Thursday 12:30 p.m.; Atlanta Mayor Urges Fan Flexibility
The Atlanta Dream must win Game 6 of the WNBA Finals against the Golden State Valkyries to keep its championship hopes alive after trailing 3-2 in the best-of-seven series. The game, originally scheduled for 8 p.m., has been moved to Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at State Farm Arena due to scheduling conflicts with NBA games at the same venue. Dream ownership said in an open letter that it raised concerns about the playoff schedule two months ago but did not receive adequate attention from the WNBA. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens asked local employers and educators to allow employees and students flexibility to watch or attend the game on Thursday.
