KY-06 Congressional Race: Polls Close 6 p.m. ET Tuesday, Nov. 3
Kentucky's 6th Congressional District, which includes Lexington and surrounding suburban and rural areas, is a toss-up race in the November midterm election. Republican Ralph Alvarado, Kentucky's first Hispanic state senator and former Tennessee health commissioner who received Trump's endorsement, faces Democrat Zach Dembo, a Navy veteran and former federal prosecutor who resigned citing DOJ politicization. The district voted for Trump by 15 points in 2024 but backed Democratic Governor Andy Beshear by 20 points the prior year. Early voting concluded after a three-day period, and polls close at 6 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
