Broadview Six Case Reverberates in Federal Court One Year After Indictment
One year after a federal grand jury indicted six activists in the 'Broadview Six' case, legal proceedings continue at the Dirksen U.S. Courthouse. Although all charges were dismissed in May following allegations of grand jury misconduct, Judge April Perry is reviewing whether Justice Department officials obstructed justice. The judge has set an Oct. 30 deadline for prosecutors to provide internal communications regarding Washington D.C.'s involvement in the case.
