Caltrans to Hold Last Chance Grade Open House Tuesday, Oct. 27
Caltrans will host a public open house for the Last Chance Grade project on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds in Crescent City. The event allows residents to review progress on the proposed 6,000-foot tunnel intended to bypass landslide risks along U.S. 101 south of Crescent City. Project crews are currently conducting field investigations that will influence the tunnel's final design.
