Concord Man Charged With Allegedly Stabbing Wife to Death
A Concord man was charged with murder after his wife was found stabbed to death at their home in the 2300 block of Panoramic Drive, the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office said Tuesday. Police responded just before 9 p.m. Friday to a disturbance report involving a man and a knife; the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Prosecutors said the suspect had been out on bail in a pending domestic violence case with a stay-away order barring him from contacting his wife or returning to the residence. He also faces allegations of dissuading a witness, assault with a deadly weapon, corporal injury to a spouse, and child endangerment. The victim and suspect have not been identified because the suspect has not yet been arraigned.
