Over 100 CU Boulder Sigma Nu Members Suspended After Hazing Investigation
More than half of the members of the Sigma Nu fraternity at the University of Colorado Boulder were suspended in fall 2025 following a severe hazing incident involving 45 pledges. The national fraternity investigated the event, which resulted in one pledge being hospitalized and the removal of all student leaders. Former board member Scott Davis alleged that local leadership attempted to cover up the incident, leading to his removal from the board in September 2025. CU Boulder confirmed it is investigating the allegation through its Student Conduct & Conflict Resolution office.
