A coastal flooding advisory is in effect for parts of Palm Beach County until 8 p.m. Saturday due to lingering king tides from last Sunday's full moon. Rain chances of 30% to 50% are forecast across South Florida during Halloween trick-or-treating hours, with possible showers or thunderstorms described as "hit or miss." The flood risk is concentrated in Palm Beach County and tapers off in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. A small boat advisory is also in place from Friday through Sunday evening.

Swimming remained prohibited at Spanish River Beach, Red Reef Park beach, South Beach and South Inlet Park on Oct. 30, three days after the Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County issued a health advisory over elevated bacteria levels. The City of Boca Raton had initially hoped to resume full beach use within 24 to 48 hours, but the advisory remains in place until further notice. Parks and beaches remain open for non-swimming activities. A total of 16 beaches across Palm Beach County were placed under advisory following water quality testing. The city directed residents to check its website and the Florida Healthy Beaches website for updates.
