A new wildfire, named the Summit Fire, was reported on November 1 at 2:44 p.m. in Tuolumne County, California. The fire is burning on federal land managed by the United States Forest Service and is believed to have occurred naturally. As of two hours after discovery, there is no information regarding containment.
