Bomb Threat Evacuates Toledo Elementary Polling Site Tuesday Morning
Toledo Public Schools confirmed an apparent bomb threat at Beverly Elementary School on Tuesday morning, prompting evacuation of the building used as a polling location on Election Day. The Lucas County Board of Elections brought additional voting machines outside during the evacuation so voters could continue casting ballots. Voting resumed inside the school shortly after noon local time. Authorities reported that five other schools in the Toledo area also received threats; police swept those buildings and students and staff returned after receiving an all-clear.
