Parents of 1-Year-Old Fatally Shot in Senatobia Protest at AG's Office
The parents of Kohen Wiley, a 1-year-old killed by a police officer in Senatobia, Mississippi, led a protest Monday at the office of Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch, who ruled last month that the June shooting was justified. Officer Sgt. Hunter Foster fired into a moving vehicle during a shoplifting call response; body-camera footage shows the child seated on his mother's lap when struck. The parents and activists demanded Fitch explain the ruling in person but were met by her chief of staff. Separately, the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is investigating a Saturday arson fire that damaged the Senatobia police building.
