American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing at St. Louis Lambert Saturday Morning
A couple from Waterloo, Illinois, Tessa and Mark Springer, were aboard an American Airlines flight departing St. Louis Lambert International Airport for Pennsylvania on Saturday morning when the plane experienced engine trouble and later deployed oxygen masks approximately 15 minutes into the flight. The aircraft returned to Lambert and landed safely; passengers evacuated by jumping from the wing onto the tarmac. American Airlines stated in a statement that an odor was reported on board and the plane was pulled from service for inspection.
