A motorcyclist was killed Sunday evening in a crash west of Grass Valley in Nevada County, California, according to the California Highway Patrol. The single-vehicle collision was reported at 6:42 p.m. near the 16100 block of Indian Springs Road, with no other vehicles involved. Nevada County coroner's officials were expected to release the motorcyclist's name after notifying family members. CHP did not immediately respond to inquiries about additional details.
