Mobile Man Allegedly Killed Aunt, Grandmother with Chainsaw Hours After 911 Call
On Monday, Oct. 12, a woman in Mobile, Alabama called 911 after 11 a.m. reporting her nephew, Thomas Steele, 47, was off his Lithium medication and acting bizarrely but not violent. About two and a half hours later, police responded to the home on Carolina Court and found Steele's grandmother Dora Boone, 85, and aunt Christy Deloach, 65, decapitated with a chainsaw. A woman with special needs inside the home was unharmed. Steele remains in custody without bond; it is unclear how long after the 911 call the killings occurred or whether the caller reached police.
