Woman Charged After Alleged Attack on 9-Year-Old at Henrico Bus Stop
Henrico Police arrested 47-year-old Marie Tulette Marsh after she allegedly punched a 9-year-old boy in the face at his Ratcliffe Elementary School bus stop around 7:30 a.m. Friday. A nearby resident reported hearing the child scream, ran outside, and helped bring the boy to safety before calling 911. The victim suffered facial injuries but is expected to recover. Ratcliffe Elementary Principal Joy Reed called the incident isolated and said counselors are supporting affected students while she monitors the bus stop throughout the week. Marsh faces an assault and battery charge with a court hearing set for Dec. 14.
