James McDaniel, an 81-year-old Navy veteran and former postal employee, was shot and killed Wednesday night while leaving a Walmart in Gainesville, Georgia on his mobility scooter. Gainesville Police say the shooting stemmed from a fight inside the store that spilled into the parking lot, where two teenagers allegedly opened fire on a group of men; McDaniel was an innocent bystander. Eighteen-year-old Kamari Nehemiah Tilmuth was arrested Sunday morning and charged with felony murder, four counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Seventeen-year-old Erron Lamar Dorsey faces the same charges and remains at large.
