Man Arrested in Greenville County After Series of Burglaries Targeting Women Home Alone
Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis said investigators were made aware Oct. 16 of multiple late-night burglaries sharing concerning similarities, each involving a suspect entering or attempting to enter homes occupied by women who were alone. Authorities linked 25-year-old Terron Lamon Banks to four September burglaries and charged him with four counts of first-degree burglary, one count of grand larceny and one count of voyeurism. Banks was taken into custody at a bus station in Spartanburg County while attempting to board a bus to Atlanta. Deputies are investigating five additional incidents with similar circumstances that could be connected to Banks, and DNA evidence has been submitted to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division for processing. The sheriff's office is asking anyone who believes they were a victim to call 864-467-5300.
