Three Arrested After Facebook Marketplace PS5 Robbery in Martinez
Columbia County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested three Augusta residents Friday afternoon after they allegedly stole a PlayStation 5 during a Facebook Marketplace meetup at Fierce Fitness in Martinez, Georgia. The victim handed the console through a vehicle door for testing before occupants slammed the door and fled; license plate readers tracked the Ford Escape into Richmond County where deputies stopped it. Officers recovered the stolen PS5 along with marijuana and a firearm, booking all three suspects into the Columbia County jail on robbery charges.
