Bodycam Video Released in Cedartown Police Shooting of Pet Donkey
Cedartown police released body camera footage showing the moments before an officer shot and killed a pet donkey named HeeHaw in August. The incident occurred on private property where officers were searching for a missing child, who was later found at a nearby church. The owner, Hannah Israel, is suing the officer, alleging the animal posed no threat, while the officer's legal team claims he reasonably believed the donkey endangered another officer.
