Two Charged in $150,000 Heist at St. Jo Frontier Casino
Two St. Joseph residents were charged with receiving stolen property after allegedly stealing $150,000 from the St. Jo Frontier Casino through a social engineering scheme involving fake FedEx and management-approval calls. Charles Blaisdell, 42, and Heaven Roberts, 21, were arrested in Macon County while traveling east on U.S. 36 after casino officials determined the cash release had not been authorized. The theft occurred Sunday morning when a security supervisor handed over the money to occupants of a Jeep Compass following two phone calls. Both suspects are being held on $150,000 bond in Buchanan County Circuit Court.
